The Destin real estate market has been looking up after the downturn experienced over the past few years. The local market averages taken from the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors MLS appear back to “normal” levels in terms of the three main market indicators; inventory (the number of properties on the market), number of sales and average SOLD prices. (“Normal” being the historic trend before market prices essentially doubled (and more) in 2004).
